In light of all the controversy over the development proposal at Smith Cove, we are all delighted to hear that the Government will now buy the development and give back to the Cayman people as part of Cayman's national heritage. I thought it was appropriate to show off just how beautiful this cove is- not just the beach itself, but all the rock pools to the right. What would have been turned into a block of condos is now going to be kept sacred. Which means more wonderful shoots for me! This shoot in particular stands out by a long shot. The Browns booked 2, 45 minute sessions with me so we could get sunset pictures in one location- The Avalon public beach, and the other- none other then Smith Cove! They wanted family portraits and water fun, so I wasted no time in telling them we absolutely must shoot the water portraits at Smith Cove- where they could not only get stunning portraits, but also get some great shots jumping into the water off the famous rock! This was such a fun shoot, and a beautiful family. I hope to see them all again for more fun. Thank you for being such amazing sports!
